TPU A/S short for Teknologi & Produkt Udvikling (Danish for Technology & Product Development) - is a Danish engineering consultancy based in Birkerød, just north of Copenhagen.

We are not related to thermoplastic polyurethane or to tensor processing units; TPU here refers only to our company name.

Since 1990, we have completed more than 700 product development projects for clients across medical devices, instruments, measuring technology, industrial machinery and manufacturing technology.

Who we are

We are a multidisciplinary team of highly skilled R&D engineers and technicians, with special qualifications in mechanical and electromechanical design. Our systematic approach lets us navigate complex, technically demanding development tasks, whether we run a project from A to Z or step in for selected phases.

What we do

We have deep experience in:

• Product development from A-Z, including electromechanical medical devices and other consumer products

• Mechanical construction, including industrial products, test equipment and manufacturing equipment

We support the full development process, from specification and concept creation through design, testing, documentation and production, and we're equally comfortable joining at a single phase where you need extra capacity or specialist expertise.
